"TaiBIF" stands for Taiwan Biodiversity Information Facility. It is the Taiwan portal of GBIF, and is in charge of integrating Taiwan's biodiversity information, including lists of species and local experts, illustrations of species, introduction of endemic species and invasive species, Taiwan's terrestrial and marine organisms, biodiversity literature, geographical and environmental information, information about relevant institutions, organizations, projects, and observation spots, the Catalog of Life (a list of Taiwanese endemic species), and publications.

MycoBank is an on-line database aimed as a service to the mycological and scientific society by documenting mycological nomenclatural novelties (new names and combinations) and associated data, for example descriptions and illustrations. The nomenclatural novelties will each be allocated a unique MycoBank number that can be cited in the publication where the nomenclatural novelty is introduced. These numbers will also be used by the nomenclatural database Index Fungorum, with which MycoBank is associated.

eBird is among the world’s largest biodiversity-related science projects, with more than 1 billion records, more than 100 million bird sightings contributed annually by eBirders around the world, and an average participation growth rate of approximately 20% year over year. A collaborative enterprise with hundreds of partner organizations, thousands of regional experts, and hundreds of thousands of users, eBird is managed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. eBird data document bird distribution, abundance, habitat use, and trends through checklist data collected within a simple, scientific framework. Birders enter when, where, and how they went birding, and then fill out a checklist of all the birds seen and heard during the outing. Data can be accessed from the Science tab on the website.

EcoDB provides services for both individual researchers and scientific journals. Individuals can use this repository to store, manage and publish scientific data, get feedback from others on the data, and discover scientific data shared by others through this repository. Journals can use the repository to gather, manage and review the supporting data of submitted paper. At the same time, journals can timely publish these supporting data according to their own data policies.
