The GES DISC is the home (archive) of NASA Precipitation and Hydrology, as well as Atmospheric Composition and Dynamics remote sensing data and information. The Tree Atlas Project is focused on the trees and shrubs of Namibia. The project gathered and recorded information about the distribution, abundance and general biology of woody plants, which are an important resource in Namibia. The information was collected over 6 years (October 1997-December 2003) and entered into a database housed at the National Botanical Research Institute. The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is committed to supporting statistical development in Africa as a sound basis for designing and managing effective development policies for reducing poverty on the continent. Through our decades of hydrological and ecological practices and the activities on the waterways of the German Federal a valuable inventory of hydrological information has emerged in the stuck our experience and knowledge base.
